Alan Hoover

Our Hometown Broadcasting resident rocker is Alan Hoover. Alan joined The Hometown Broadcasting team in October 2015. Alan started as our MIX 99.3 afternoon drive host, and one year later he became Program Director for all stations and on-air host of his very own station Classic Rock 107.5 TheBreeze.

You can hear him weekdays for the Morning Rock Show from 6 am to 10 am, plus on The Afternoon Drive Show Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 4 pm to 6 pm. And on Saturday afternoons at 3:00 pm, Alan ROCKS you with great contests and long blocks of Rock 'N' Roll!

Alan has a lot of connections to artists and their record labels, and he loves giving great prizes away to loyal listeners. The record labels and managers are always shipping new music, posters, books and concert tickets to Alan for give away.

Alan is also passionate about helping, and he enjoys The Breeze's public service events, including The Walk to End Alzheimer's, The Red Kettle Holiday Season Campaign Kick Off event for The Portsmouth Salvation Army and The Portsmouth Area Jaycees Annual Easter Egg Hunt.
